Welcome to Davis’ Kennels!
Davis' Kennels in a Fully Insured Kennel located just outside of Radnor, Ohio in Delaware County, which is only 30 miles north of downtown Columbus and just 10 minutes north of the city of Delaware Our goal is to develop your dog into the retriever you have always wanted. Whether you are looking for a gun dog or a hunt test dog or just a more obedient pet, we will work with you to provide the best training program to fit your needs.

Bill has been a Professional Firefighter/Paramedic for over 20 years and an avid outdoorsman since the early age of six when his uncle started taking him squirrel hunting.
Bill has been involved with dogs his whole life. His first experience was with beagles that he and his dad trained and ran in Beagle Trails and also hunted over them. Bill has also raised and trained coonhounds and pointers.
We acquired our first Lab, Maverick, in 2000 and started working with a few seasoned Field Trail Trainers to develop a solid training program of our own. Bill and Chris have competed with Maverick in hunt test and field trials, having earned his HRC Hunting Retriever Champion and AKC Senior Hunter Titles.
Since our first retriever we have added three more to our family – Max, Woody, and, our newest member Magic. As with Maverick, Bill and Chris have handled Max and Woody to earn several titles for them, as well. Magic will start his Hunt Test career in the Spring of 2008
Of our four retrievers we own, three have their HRC- HRCH Titles, two have HRC-Upland Titles, two have earned their AKC- Senior Hunter titles and one has achieved hic HRC –Grand Hunter Retriever Champion Title and has made the HRC “500” Point Club. We have also competed and titled numerous client dogs in hunt test over the past several years.
Bill and Chris are deeply involved in and supportive of HRC. Both are members of the Ohio River and the West Central Hunting Retriever Clubs, Bill recently completing a four-year term as treasure of the Ohio River HRC club. Having competed and titled dogs at all levels, Bill is also an accomplished judge for HRC Hunt Test. He will be judging his second HRC Grand in April of 2008.
